I see you. Others may not, but I do.

I understand the endless ache inside your chest.

The nights you lay awake, crying.

The brave face you put on for the world.

I see you and I am so proud of the way you carry on,

despite not wanting to.

You wake up every morning with a broken heart yet

you hold your head up and face the world.

I see you and your brave soul.
